Front Wheel Bearing Socket

The latest repco catalogue now has the sockets for doing the front wheel bearings..


patrol part number 71950 $48.40. 54mm

Bit rich I think, but worth having.

I have the tractor replacements one, was about the same price, but it doesn't fit into my hub far enough to grab the inner nut?

made one years ago from 4mm plate and a piece of pipe !!! works a treat to !

I got one off Bazzle thats a piece of steel tube, with some flat place cut into shapes, welded to teh end of the pipe to make it a socket, would have been lots less than $10!

this is a much better setup - post 95 GQ and GU I think??

Na its a flat nut, with no real room to get a normal socket in next to it, with one of those fucked up washers that you mash 2 sides off to stop the nut turning... a real norti werd idea.
