Just took the instrument cluster out of the Maruti WT ute, because i can't find glass for it and i have a NT Sierra sitting there with a much better cluster.
The plugs look the same on the back. It couldn't possibly just be as easy as pulling one out and putting the other one in could it? Will the other cluster work?
Sorry about the Noob question.
Puk

Changing dash clusters
Re: Changing dash clusters
It sure will.Puk wrote:Just took the instrument cluster out of the Maruti WT ute, because i can't find glass for it and i have a NT Sierra sitting there with a much better cluster.

I replaced my NT softtop dash with a later model hardtop dash (with tacho etc)...the two sets of plugs in the cluster are identical.
The Sierras have a common wiring harness - the NT softtop wiring harness is wired for rear window demister and seatbelt sensors.
