can anyone suggest good (and budget )after market seats to fit a 1988 GQ patrol. preferably comforable ones for long distance driving rather than race seats
where to get and $$$$ is the sort of info i require

not after market but try an import wreckers.
cars like skylines, supras and rx7's to name a few have nome very comfy seats that can be had for cheap at the wreckers and are easily adapted

i and 2 other mates have all ran r33 skyline seats in cars atone time or another. they have great lumbar support and are comfy as

im going to put a set in my gq some time this year

Recaro seats! I have a set in my GQ.
You will however require custom seat mounts and a blue plate.

If your really serious, I can work out some price for you.

what ever you get make sure they arent very wide, i got a set of monza race seats, they have about 2mm clearence on the pillar and sit hard against the centre console. they are about the same width as the std seats, but if you look at the std seats the back is offset to the seat, so it misses the pillar

I have a monza bucket seat and havetn fitted it asyet. but it rubs on the B pillar :cry: in my mock up still have to fab up the brackets. if anyone has pics of what they did to help the clear or of the brackets please Pm them to me
