80-100 series diff centre

Post by Roktruk »

Any one now how different the 80 rear diff is from a 100? I have an ARB locker in the Truk at the moment, want to know if it will fit a 100 series, either as a complete centre drop in or to replace the carrier. The carrier is originally out of my old 60, so has served well. With the 80 up for replacement, any $$$$ saved are good $$$$

Different enough – the 60/80 locker [RD33] is a 30 spline 33mm VS the 100 [RD64] 33 spline 34.8mm shaft. 1977-89 80 models use a 45mm ID bearing, and ‘90-97 use a 50mm ID bearing.

Cheers
