Post by wharf »

What oil filters are you fellas using with your td42,i have been using the ryco 503,and last 2 changes changed to a cheaper version of this filter.Last time i changed the filters they werent full when i undid them from the block. The rycos were always full?I am doing a lot of kms(for me) a week and service is every 2 months now.On a simmilar subject what oils are you using,I started using penrite 20/60,and have changed to valvoline super deisel 15/40.Have noticed its a little more tappy near change time.

Have just done the opposite.

Was using valvoline filters and super diesel, did notice it was getting a little tappy around oil change time.

Changed to penrite diesel (20/60) and ryco filters, so good so far.
