Vitara sloppy shifter - same fix as Sierra?

Post by Impulsive »

Hi all,

I did a search and found the "sloppy shifter" threads in relation to Sierras.

Can anyone please advise whether the fix is similar for Vitaras (ie; the locating bolt and/or shifter sheet)?

If it matters, the car of subject is a 1998 model Vitara. The last of them before the sexy rounded body style change in mid 1998 (so its the last of the sharper looking bodied ones - with the slightly different front-end).

Thanks in anticipation,
