That certainly looks alot better than the barless/split rimmed/poo brown pics we've seen before. Bit of a pitty it's the same from a-pillar back though.

i reckon they look too "girly" now. the whole point of the 70 series is to have a down right simple rig that is very capable offroad. i think they should stay the same shape...it will sell just as good without changing the style of it. meh my 2 cents anywyas.

So are they actually calling it a 70 series (as opposed to the 79 series etc.)? Is that what I take away from that?

Oh, and to me the front looks like a 15 year old Pajero.

not the best looking truck out there, but the way toyota is going it's no suprise. (ie new hilux) atleast they retained live front axle, heard it was gonna be ifs. nearly enough to turn you to nissan
