RANGIE TRANSFER

RANGIE TRANSFER
Hi, Does any body now how strong an early model (70 something ) is and how much horse power and torque they would take. Not sure of exact model transfer although it's adapted to a turbo 400 auto .Maybe is it worth getting work done to it? Cheers!
CHEVRANGIECRUISER
It depends on which model it is, the early 4spd rangies have the lt95 combined gearbox transfer and later auto/5spd had the lt230 transfer.
Both are very strong and will handle chev/ holden or other engines no problem. A mate of my dad's had one with a 400 chev with the lt95 and it held together no probs.
