1HD-FT vac plumbing question

Post by smithie »

Hey all,
I'm rebuilding a fire damaged 1HD-FT and want to clean up the vac lines and do away with all unnecessary plumbing.
My injector pump has twin chamber vac actuators, one for the powersteering idle up solenoid, one for the a/c idle up solenoid (i think).

I'm thinking of getting rid of the vac lines for the p/s idle up (as my pzj70 doesnt have the right p/s hose fitting for it anyway) and I dont have a/c (plus the a/c solenoid is melted) so are there any vac lines that I do need???

Also, if i dont need to use the twin chamber vac actuators, what do i do to the vac hose connection points? Do i just cap them off or do they need pressure (pos/neg?)??

cheers.
Dan
