HPR 15 in a 1HZ & 2H?

Post by Rough60 »

Hi all,
I currently run Castrol RX Super in my 60 and am happy with it (370000km) but would like to change to penrite hpr 15 and also run it in a turbo 1hz, sound ok? hpr 15 (15w-50)is not too thick for the 1hz?
Cheers.

I run the penrite 15 in a 2h turbo. Interested to see what others think.

outside of recommendations of 15w40...40 is weight when cold, 50 is thicker, slower to pump, more like honey....my recommendation is castrol cxj for both...visit castrol and ask the question to specialists.

I think it's the other way round. 15w is the viscosity when cold. I thought this would be okay for most Australian climates.
