I know my limits, and that is over them. my legs went to jelly just thinking about driving up it..dont think the climb is hard, but the fear factor of making a woops would be way too high fer me..

I remember seeing a clip on TV probably about 7 or 8 years ago of someone who had driven to the top, turned around (i think you have to do a 4 point turn or something) and half way down it jumped out of gear and they lost control. They managed to get it most of the way down but lost it maybe 50 metres from the bottom and went off the side. I don't think they were killed - surprisingly.

yeah i remember that, it was on one of those "how they survived" shows. it was a cheroke and they lost control half way down and end up coming of the side of the cliff, but they did survive....

Wonder what it's like on a "wet day" on road tyres, naturally... that is if they get that at all (a wet day that is!)...

Great for a "training day"... practicing stall-start techniques... reversing techniques... speaking of which... I think I need some training but nothing that looks quite like that! :D

i remember watching that on telle... lions back in kasas (uhh, maybe not kansas but i dunno, it sounds right) reaches 65 degrees at some areas. they took the husband wife team back up to face her fears... in a brand new jeep! even if it was for television i just couldnt risk my own car for it!

but hmm... i have a kind brother who has a liking for southern comfort and a habit of **losing** his keys...

cheers

Thanks for the link... I hadn't seen it but man, that'd be scary!

The expression used in the video: "initiation", doesn't sound very appropriate in the context though!

Hmmmm, just realised, the video brings new meaning to the "signature" I've been using for a while... "I can do that, I've seen it done on TV"... ouch...
