Suzuki a/c compressor tech

Post by nicbeer »

Hey

I am going to use the orig aircompessor off the vit motor for endless air use. going to ba a tank setup either in back of the zook or underneath (space pending). i am aiming to use an inline oiler as well posib

I was mainly enquiring of what the engine speed must be to get max airflow/pressure? i understand above idle?

i am not sure if these pumps pump more with more revs or once at a speed no more will come out.

Hey Nic,

I'm not sure of the max airflow of the unit, but because it is engine driven it will pump more with higher revs.

I have a couple of pic's from around the web of tanks that have been placed between the frame and body, and in the engine bay. I believe some people have also welded up the chassis rails and used that.

You should also consider running an airline (via t-piece) to an outlet at both front and rear bumpers or there abouts to allow easy connection for tyre inflation or running air tools. I believe I have some pic's of this as well (I have a vague memory that I might have saved them from a thread on here actually!).

Wouldnt mind helping out if you go ahead with this.
