if i recall correctly the GU locker will fit a GQ,
but if you have a GQ locker and want to fit it to a GU diff, you need to have a thrust block (i think that what its called) removed,

if you want to try and fit it up, im pretty sure you will find that in the current state the GU axels will seem to long

above is for front

i believe the rears are the same,

not 100% sure if a replacement part is required or weather you just take it out, if you talk to ARB they will be able to tell you, as ARB were modding them for people previously,

On this note with lockers.

Will a rear LSD from a GU or GQ fit a H260 box for a G60 Patrol ?

if you need a small cylindrical steel spacer I have one left over. I think it is for fitting to gq though - i didn't need it

5mm off the end of the GU axles and remove the thrust block is what needs to happen for the front then all is sweet.
Cheers

Even if it has the rd 78a locker, do you still need to chop the axles?

Are you sure about this. I was told to just cut 5mm of the axles and all will be good.

I was also told this, but i have been told not to cut the axles if its the 78a locker because gq and gu now use the same locker with the same pin

I cut mine yesterday with the really thin blade using a grinder and it worked perfect. All goes together today.
