Wanted: Car trailer or beaver tail truck, let me know what you got
yeah i will back that up.a BF let down will nearly work as well as a claw.followed a mate for a whole weekend and saw the trouble he had with them.side slope and down hill made him work real hard to control the thing.a simex works 100% better or just run real low pressure in BFs.claws suck
smooth rides with power
One of the reasons I went Mickey Thompson tyres was because they are a bit bigger than other brands so do allow for this.
I currently have the MTZ's but the Claws are defitely a superior tyre except for maybe side slopes downhill. You have more traction than other tyres so you are moving forwards instead of sliding sieways so it usually isn't a prob, I never come accross a prob on sideslopes.

The MTZ's look okay, not a big fan of the claw pattern. Overated and overpriced IMO plus they're too bloody wide as well.
Have BF's and so far they've been superb, plus one of 2 brands that make 255/85's. Was initially pissed off when I staked one a few months back but one puncture in 10 years I was just unlucky

Gotta say they have to be the best tyre Ive ever run. They are quiet on road and unbelievable offroad.
Cost $315 each but worth every cent. I know what my next set of tyres will be again!
