Dyno day: results

Post by Dzltec »

Hi all,

Looking to gauge the repsonse for a dyno day at our premises in Lilydale. Open to all 4x4's. We have a 2wd mainline dyno, so constant 4x4's can have the front wheels raised and centre diff lock locked.

It will be on a saturday, bbq and drinks available, hoping to have a couple of comp trucks, our patrols and l/cruiser going on the dyno to show how much they have.

Suited to both petrol and diesel. Costs to be announced, but it will give you three power runs and also a speedo error report. Max 20 cars.

Prizes for the highest power in both petrol and diesel.

Dates between feb and march.

So whos up to proving how much they have?

Lilydale is in melbourne, near Toolangi.

It would be interesting to see what my new car makes considering my old car was a 2L petrol turbo with 200kw at all 4 wheels :)

I thinking the standard 06 lux turbo diesel, would put out about 90kw at the rear wheels.

Pity it is on melbourne

Well it looks like the repsonse is enough to make it happen. Further information will be posted, times will be worked out to not coincide amongst other events.

Im not scared of anyone hottie monster, I have a vehicle on "drugs".

Bogged, yes I am more than willing to do dyno days for clubs, lets get this one done and I can sort out finer details and refine the workings, this will be the first one I am invloved in.

Thanks

Well I can say it is a go. It will be towards the end of march. We have a 2wd dyno, but anything with a centre diff lock can be dynoed. Costs and further info to be anounced. Numbers limited to aprrox 25 to start with.

Further info, dates and costs will be posted soon.

Thanks
