Where to get body blocks???

Post by Dave Fogwill »

Hi,

I am planning to do a body lift in the next couple of weeks. I have read all of the past posts on this topic and i think me and some mates can manage the job.

I was going to buy the blocks from offroad industries, (formerly Chaos 4x4) for $20 each including bolts... These are the nylon type blocks, the guys at chaos machine them to the height that you want.

Do you think this is a reasonable price..

Thanks

Dave.

Yeah Dave, that sounds alright. I got quoted $200 for the blocks and bolts through Big Balls Offroad.

You have their number???? I'm buying them for xmas to fit before the new year.

The number is (02) 9748 1116.

They are not bad down there, they are at silverwater just off silverwater road. There are some big trucks down there at times. I had my custom shackles made there for $200. They have been fine so far...

Dave,

You might check and see if any Oz manufacturers make a body lift for an `86-`89 Toyota 4Runner. The 4Runner uses ten body mounts just like the Feroza. My Performance Accessories kit was $68.00 US.

Yep that sounds quite good, especially including the bolts. Support these guys - they are top blokes making good gear in a tough industry.
Built, not bought.
