can any one tell me what i should expect to have the normal machine work done to my 2H, whilst beeing rebuilt, and what machining etc i should expect...???

head reco, new pre combustions some valves etc..
Liners and hone.
Block decked.
Cam tunnel possibly bored
Rods sized.
new pistons fitted to rods.
crank grind
coupla grand.

well its not happening... the lip in the bores is so big we dont think we can get pistons big enough...

and for the price there are some better alternatives...


so now i am open to suggestions on engines... first on my list is the all mighty 12hT closely followed by an injected 5Lt commonwhore engine...

what year model truck

looked at a 4bta cummins comes with a turbo400 for bout 5k
120 hp turbo 4L 4cyl diesel shiteloads of torque
