Re: BRC BLOS mixer

Honestly not after heaps of power. If i did go chasing it, the gearboxes dont like it in these things. I actually got a price on that exact converter before getting the airod, but trying to talk to gas man about it, was if he was deaf. He laughed at the blos mixer. Like you say though, i still might ...

Got my setup running, Airod converter and Blos mixer I think its great so far.
I did change from a carby manifold to an injection manifold, but i've gained some low down grunt. It actually runs alot better than it did on petrol.

They work well.

Bit of an update, the GQ RB30 is up and running on gas with an air rod conveter and blos mixer,. First impression is the mixer works great. Set the idle mixture on the converter, set the second sensitivity screw in the middle as its the larg type. The blos mixer does the rest, runs smooth everywhere ...

Got a bit of info today, exhaust any closer than 150mm needs a heat sheild, Clips every 600mm for service line, two fillers required for twin tanks to prevent over filling, a realay and switch to switch between tanks.
From what i was told its ilegal to have one draining into another.

Ok, just ordered one. Will be using it non turbo to start with, just to get the gas convrsion done. Still making my high mount manifold atm.
From rearch i've done should work well with low boost on RB30.

Surely someone knows something about them..

grinch, you spent in excess of $10,000 on the RB30??

Standard RB30 high comps are 9.0-1
Standard VL turbo donks are 7.8-1

Just thought i'd add that as i've seen prople posting 9.5-1 for high comp and 7.5-1 for low turbo. I've since been reading the manual.

RB25 should lower the comp
