LPG Install advice?
Hey guys,
Im going straght LPG on my GQ in the next week or 2.
So far have the 115ltr tank thats bolts into the original petrol tank mount and another 100ltr for the cargo area.
Been in touch with a gas fitter to supply everything else i need to complete install and he will certify given everything i've done is up to stanard.
When it comes to answering any questions about what inpaticular has to be right he suddenly gets impatient and shot. I understand his posistion to a degree.
Which brings me to ask for some pointers from any gas guru's on here?
I have searched for hours to find out whats in this AS 1425 but seems you need a licence number to get hold of it.
Any help/advice appreciated.

My kit including under bonnet accessories, 2 fillers for tanks, valves for tanks, lines, clips, screws bracket for tank to go in cargo area. Everything i need is 1000 bucks. Both tanks are in date. The 100ltr tank has the air tight compartment on it, the venting conduit and floor tube are in the kit. When i mean is things like, service line bein secured no less than every 600mm, if exhaust is closer than 300mm (i think) than it needs a heat shield. Those sort of reg's?
if you can find it... ive seen a panel van taht had an adapter to fill gas bbq bottles with lpg... $8 beats $35 swap-and-go... had a tap and you had to fill the lpg tank full before it would fill the gas bottle.
not sure abt how legal it is tho...
