He's put a few courses of injector clean through it to no avail.

I'll try the Hendra bloke Scanas, ta for that.

My father in law has a 1997 80 Series with a 1FZ-FE with 150K on it. It regularly 'misses' and loses power which it then finds again and takes off at the usual great rate of knots. This miss seems to be getting worse.

My wife's '99 100 series petrol auto has a cracked top radiator tank.

I've been quoted $235 to replace the top tank; $299 for a new radiator and $345 for a new radiator with metal tanks.

Are these prices good? Can you give me someone preferably on Brissie north side who does better deals ...

Well, the wife still loves her 1999 model 100, but misses some of the interior appointments that the previous NM Pajero and even GU Patrol had. The cup holders and storage areas way up the back are brilliant, but she misses the vanity mirrors in the sun visors.

Did they appear in later 100 ...

about the spring perch problem guys supererior engineering does a rear coil tower brace that bolts directly on the top of your spring perch's using existing holes fits nicely under your brake lines etc aswell. if you already have bent spring perchs a little heat from an oxy will bring them back ...

The locker will bolt in not a prob, the zd30 have the small rear diff.

Aaah NO. I've got a 2001 manual and it has the H260 rear diff. Apparently alot of the ZD30 and TB45E manuals have the H260 whereas the auto's have the H233.

Yeah, I've got that covered, I have a 3m drag chain that has "eyes" on the end to balance the pull. I try to do this even with my chassis'ed 4wd's.

As above, just so I know how to IF my wife gets bogged on the beach (or elsewhere).

Where are recovery points or do I need to fit some and what are the rules for using/fitting them?

I've still got the GU (which will become my project/toy and more of a fun/tourer now than the Mav'), she just wanted something to take on camping trips that can help haul stuff (and kids!!).

I must admit, that after having Rancho adjustables on the Mav' (old ones with only 5 stage adjustment) I really liked the adjustable bit.

That said, I only ever used two settings: '5' for on road and '1' for offroad.

I'd think that stock would be the way to go. I thought 'big' cams created more power HIGHER in the rev range, at the expense of power/torque in the lower rev range, which = bad for 4b's.

Therefore, stock.
