im doing an engine swap in my MU and just wondering what needs to be done to accomodate this successfully in the area of fuel tank & lines ? obviously the fuel lines/fuel tank need to be cleaned so they can be used with petrol or am i needing to get all new lines and new tank? is there anything else ...

hey guys I lifted up my MU last weekend and it appears my rear shocks didnt quite like it lol... (could be pure coincidence.. but i doubt it!) can anyone recommend some decent ones to get to replace the farked ones? or anyone have any good 2nd hand ones laying around they dont need? im needing them ...

hey guys ive just fitted a brand spankin new turbo to my 2.8 Mu. When we first fitted it and took it for a test drive it was running 8/9 psi.. we then noticed a hell of alot of oil coming out of the return pipe (forgot the gasket :roll: ) ... we put on the gasket, took it for another test drive, and ...

well i just rang a diesel specialist/mechanic and they are booked out well into next month! but ive managed to get it booked in for friday next week... they are just going to do a service and check the whole thing over... costs $180. does that sound reasonable or should i go somewhere else?

have had so many people telling me all different things about diesel engines its starting to do my head in :lol:

i could always do what the guys at livinglow are doing :P body drop it and chuck in a 5L v8 engine :armsup: :lol:

haha no way those rims are NOT on the MU! they're 20s.. and WAY TOO BIG!!! thank god i seen the light and didnt buy them :lol: i plan to do a bit of off roading... and it has a fair bit of pull straight off at the lights! its funny you mention the gearbox... i have this feeling it prob doesnt have ...

it has an intercooler from the 3.1 and the boost has been wound up...

im undecided what i want to do! engine swap or bigger turbo.
