i'm thinking to go also on 35x12.5x15 set and i have some open issues such:

Should i use an offset rim or just use 1" spacer at the wheel hub?
What is the min that i should lift the vehicle?
is it a must to use different ratios (i'm running a TDI300)? if do ...

I just finished with the timing. Seems that the timing belt "jumped" one step, the reason is that the master pulley bolt (27mm) been damaged also the woodruff key at the master crankshaft was damaged so all this pulley wasn’t balanced.

I started the day by disconnecting the breather & checking the return hoses of the diesel fuel.
All seems O.K. the breather is leaking a bit of oil to the turbo inlet but it doesn't seem to be the problem.
Later on I checked the inlet of the turbo, there is a slight of movement of the compressor ...

By turbo seal you mean that I should feel the turbo shaft loose?

so it should smoke white all the time, but it doeasnt smoke when accelerating such as when taking the foot off the pedal while gear is still shifted, means engine is slowing the car.

It doesn't look from water, much more likely from diesel fuel.

Well, you should be careful because if you are NOT in-line between the transfer case & the transmission the output shaft of the transmission will damage the seal again.
The best is to use a transmission lift so you can know all the time that you stays in-line. Or to be vary vary careful at the ...

well my tailshaft is not the original anymore but a stronger one.
i thought that if you go 35's you must install some stronger half shafts & change the gear ratio to a lower one.

i'm running a TDI300, which is not so known as a fast & strong, are you runing a V8?

I had a 4 - 5" lift on mine and ran 37s. I needed a new tailshaft and fitted cranked arms. Brake lines were fine.

Lately I had thoughts to upgrade & improve the fuel/water separator (sedimator) in my TDI300 110. I selected a Racor type from the 200 series & modified the pipeline ends form BSP into 1/4" NPT. The Racor unit should go instead of the original unit – right out the rear diesel fuel tank ...

Can any of the guys here five me a sketch of how to connect 2 batteries combined with a "battery isolator" to receive:

a. 12V from both batteries (parallel connection).
b. 24V from both batteries (inline connection).

you should try a "Delco Remy" type. they should ne cheeper then the Bosch.
