i had the same problems (not with 37 though) the centre bolt of the front springs were snapped and another time they were loose.

on 12 volt the 3 way fridges are not run on a thermostat, they supply direct power to the 12 volt element to run the fridge and draw high amps contuinously, on 12 volt the three way fridges will keep things cool but not cool things down (in most circumstances), whilst the car is running/on your way ...

First thing to do with locks that are not easy to use is to get some graphite powder.(most hardwares and automotive shops have it) put it in the locks.

makes a big difference.

Is it worth the extra to spend on a Southern Cross or Freedom tent? If you can go away and never have bad weather then its not nessary to spend the extra. but then one freak storm or overnight drenching may make you wish you had. I currently have a freedom tent, It has paid for itself may times ...

You should look at a decent canvas touring tent, as quick or quicker and easier to use. you shoud look at freedom tents, have had mine about 8 years, 2 years of that traveling around australia www.freedomcamping.com.au

Ive got a set of roh 16x8 track 2 rims with 35x10.5 simexs. and at about 3/4 lock to the right the tyre hits the drag link and digs in. What off set rims are other people using to avoid this?

About 245/75-16. If you have a bullbar and adjust the steering stops a little bit, most (not all) will also run 265/75-16. Some may touch a little on the top of the rear guard with these. A few also run 235/85-16 which is the same diameter as the 265's but narrower. http://www.hobby.nl/~clifton ...

use speedy sleeves

you will probably find that the axle where the seal rubs against is damaged and worn, from a bearing servic/supplier you can get speedy sleeves that go on to the axle where the rubber touches and it provides a go0d surface for the seal to seal against. you have to take your axle in to bearing place ...
