Can someone please tell me the height of a 80 series with a 2"lift plus big muddies. I need to build a new carport for my 80 series I've just bought and would like a roller door on it but worried it won't fit after I put the lift on and bigger tyres so I need someone who has lifted their cruiser to ...

PLEASE HELP!! ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE A DUEL FUEL CRUISER

 I am wanting to buy a Landcruiser but not sure which way I'm going to go in regards to the fuel. What I would like to know from other owners of a duel fuel (petrol/gas) cruiser is if they are happy with it, have they experienced any problems, what to look for when one is buying one, and ...

HELP WITH BUYING A LANDCRUISER

:? We are looking to purchase a Landcruiser and not too sure which way to go. We would like to buy a 80 series. I am selling my Tarago for a Landcruiser only because our Tarago does not have 4x4 so we've decided to go for the Landcruiser and we are not sure whether we would be better off with a duel ...

Better off to stick to a brand you know that will do the job rather than a cheaper brand that might end up costing you even more. I have OME's on my Zook and when it comes to replacements or upgrades, I would never put a no name brand on it reguardless how much cheaper they might be.

Buying a Nissan

We would like to buy a 4x4 vehicle and have been told to look for a Nissan. The problem is now that we have been getting different reports on different models and we need some advise on what would be a good model to buy. Is it worth looking at the GU's compared to the GQ's. Do you encounter problems ...

high or low k's....does it really matter

:? Another question on buying a 4x4 vehicle................................ I've noticed alot of the vehicles I have looked at have very high K's. Is that a concern when buying a 4x4 ? I know alot of owners might live out in the country and need to travel long distances, is that more wear and tear ...

Nissan or not to Nissan?

:? We are looking to buy a bigger 4x4 vehicle. Our little Zook just does not fit everyone in and we want a car to take long trips in and to do some fun 4x4 driving. Someone had suggested to us that the Nissan GQ are a good buy. Not knowing too much about 4x4 cars, we were after some suggestions on ...

Put clothes, blankets, pillows in a space bag. They can get really flat, and you can put heaps in them. They can then kind of sit up at the back of the front or rear seats. if you have the foldup camping chairs in the bag put them behind the back seats and then put the space bags on top of them ...

Definitely need to air down when offroad. Even if you're not tackling anything hard, you'll find the extra traction from airing down makes it a HEAP safer going down even slight inclines. Believe me, I learnt that from experience a couple of time when I was too lazy to get out and air down  A ...

Thanks James, I just needed to learn from someone else. My husband likes to pull the wool over my eyes on some of these things he buys. Someone else had suggested that we wouldn't need to let the air out as the Zooks are light enough to cope with soft surfaces. We've only had the car since Christmas ...

Compressor argument

:agrue: My husband bought me a Zook for a Chrissie presie but he now has taken over. He now wants to purchase a compressor but I don't think it's neccesary as we will probably never drive on sand but he says we need to deflate the tyres even on 4x4 tracks. Whats your opinion on this matter. Do you ...

I've had a 2" lift kit put on it and new leaf springs and a steering damper and mud terrain tyres (BF) with new rims. The disappointing thing I've found with this car though is the fuel economy. Thought by going down to a smaller engine I would get better fuel eco. out of it but it's not the case. I ...
