The old 7MGE / GTE arent to bad if u use the revided toyota head gasket and tension the head about 20 pound more than Toyota settings and use ARP head bolts as the standard bolts can snap under the extra tightening !!!

The main thing pissing me off is the rattle / vibration when taking off in first gear

Ive now got a full Hi steer setup on the Hilux and the steering is awful

1 .... I noticed when i start the car i get a horrible bang and feel the steering wheel jerk in my hand

2 .... When taking off in first gear i have a very horrible rattling coming throuigh the steering wheel

3 ...

Anyone got any ideas how i can resolve this handbrake cable problem ? Can i lengthen or shorten the handbrake arm on the drum ???
