Re: How i shimmed my GQ LSD Diff
Managed to install two 0.7mm shims today however realised I've made a bit of an error. I recorded how many turns of the carrier retaining screws but not the bearing retaining nut I had marked them and so I tried the 4 turns mentioned on both mud rhino and outer limits but unfortunately it's way too ...

Overall GQ width
The wheels are off my car at the moment so can't measure myself. I'm hoping someone would know the overall width of a GQ running 35x12.5x15 on cruiser offset rims.
I've got a car trailer I've found and its 1900 wide. Just need to know if I'm going to be able to fit the GQ on it.

Re: 80 series injector pump leak
The leak is actually coming out at the furthest point in the spring so could be the shaft. Let it warm up tonight and reduced from one drip per second to one drip per ten seconds. I might take it into the mechanic to see what happens

i got the mag to have a read. interested that the XROX faired well, only damage was the centre tube. Guess they didn't hit the wings in the test as I assumed they'd be the weakest link

Wire AWG for extended winch cables
Just looking at mounting my Warn XD9000 and wanted to put the control box in the engine bay. Cable length from control box to main battery would be less than 1m so can use the standard 2AWG cable that came with the winch, but the normally short runs from the soleniods to the winch (were only about ...

I noticed on another forum you were going to move your spotlights back. Check that you can still open your bonnet before you go to too much effort.
