Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hello all can someone tell me where i can get an alternator for a hilux 94 model with a 22r 2.4 petrol, burson's sent me a rxa 408 and a rxa 409 but these dont bolt up they are the only listing that they have for the 22r hilux, any help would be great a part number would be bloody great.

hello all, can someone please tell me how hard it is to change the cam on a 22r, and if anyone has any suggestions on what cam to use, i need more torque for towing.

hello all, thanks for the info, i will get a chance on wednesday night to check these things out, just to let yoy know i went out on the weekend and the hubs seem to lock in about 50% of the time. Its weird you press the button and if they come on all is good, but if they dont i can press the button ...

thanks ok, yep have pushed it, you can hear the little motor on the transfer case working. I had a bloke check that and he recons thats ok

yes i am sure its in 4x4 even when i put it in 4low it still doesnt light up and still no drive to the front

hello all, this might be a stupid question but i will ask it anyway.(some of us dont know much lol) i have a 94 sr5 with auto locking hubs, the front tail shaft spins but i have no drive at the front wheels and the 4x4 light on the dash does not light up are my hubs the problem? any advice would be ...

thanks nev i had another look tonight i think that part is working , the front tail shaft is spinning but no drive at the front wheels, i think this means the auto hubs arnt locking(i think dont no alot) so i might start looking at them

hello all, i have a 94mdl hilux sr5, it has electronic 4x4 selection, which wont select 4x4, when you push the button you hear the little motor on the transfer case running but doesnt select 4x4, what i would like to know, is there a common fault either in this little motor or some other possible ...

hello thanks for the info, it used to be petrol 2.4lt i have 31 inch tyres, i would like to get it down to about 2000rpm at 100km/ph, i have to tow a boat that weighs about 1500kg and most of it is on they freeway

hello, i have just done the v8 conversion in my 94 hilux dualcab, i would like to know if there are any different diff ratios i can put in the diffs, to get they revs down when cruising on the freeway, i think i have 4.8 at the moment and it does about 3000 rpm in 5th on 100km/ph.
