Outer Limits 4x4 Board

My father has a b2500 and he seems to be having trouble with the bearing inside the input shaft, it makes a "bad-bearing" noise when cluth is out, when his foot is on the clutch no more noise.
Any one had anything to do with this problem?

I have a 2001 Jack and I run 265/70R16 Maxxis with 16X8 mags and no rubbing at all.

My wheels and tyres "stick out" more than std, I even have the factory flares and still no contact between metal and rubber.

It does look awsome though, even if I say so myself.....

Just on the subject of getting stuff from US, there is another mob you may like to try in future if you need bits, they're called "rockauto.com" I got a few bits off them, payed using paypal and was very happy, so much cheaper than local GMH dealer and the parts look great and work perfectly

I put 265/70R 15 tyres on 15x7 rims on a 93 model jack and the rims rubbed on the calipers on the front..

maybe check first before you buy...

The tapping seems only to last till the engine warms up and after that it doesn't rattle / tap at all till next morning after its cooled down.

I read recently that someone recomended using a high detergent oil or even a transmision oil in there engine to "clean" it out,

it was sugested that this method was used after draining the dirty oil from the engine then running the detergent oil for about 2 or 3 hundred k's then replace it with ...

I priced a IAC Valve for my 93 3.2 Jackaroo at my local dealer, they quoted me $148.00.... from Rock auto it was $44.00.

Also a IAT sensor $140.00 at holden.....$19.95 at Rock auto ...

How do I tell??

I asked at my local holden dealer and they said that the swb of that year only came with SOHC then I said "but its a 6VD1" and he said "it must be a DOHC"..... :? :? :?

how do I remove the door skin? is it the same as the old holdens in that its held on with clips into the door or is there some other secret, super ...
