Ruff good decision in my opinion. But you do what you have to do, It would be a pity to have jes's membership cancelled cause he offerers a vast range of knowledge and always gives good advice just my 2 cents anyway.

pertronics ignitor

Sorry to hijack the thread but I've just had the Ignitor installed in my tb42. It runs real well on petrol redlines freely, but on gas under load it starts to breakdown at around 3500 rpm. Any ideas as to why it would be doing this?
thanks Joe

And i think correct me if im wrong but the mixture screw on top of the mixer adjusts the air gas mix. cheers ...

The ones you have shown i think are off a Ti model. A mate of mine gets his from Autobarn L&R hand, I think off the top of my head the price was 60 bucks each. The local manager from Autobarn gets them from a company called Roadsafe. I could get the part numbers if u wanted? cheers joe

Madmac when fitting the ignitor do you have to remove the distributor to
grind the ring down on the shaft, to get the magnetic ring to fit on the shaft. Or does it fit with out removing the distributor?
