I have used the 12V version and frankly I would never fit one again. The first one had an internal connection work loose after a couple of months. Fixed that and shortly after the motor shorted out. Managed to fix that and then made the mistake of fitting a second one for the Gigglepin head. Both ...

I had a similar problem with the seals on the front diff on my MQ. On the MQ they are located at the diff head. Changing the seal made no difference. When I looked closely at the axle I found the seal had worn a slight groove in the axle surface. Fitted a speedi-sleeve about 3 years ago and have had ...

Another cause may be an internally split flexible brake hose. The fluid can pass through one way, then the pressure flares out the internal splits not allowing the fluid to return when you take your foot off the brake pedal.
Would never have thought of that. Amazing what you can glean from these ...

I would have a good look at the Megasquirt. Relatively inexpensive if you build it yourself and lots of info on the internet with really helpful forums.

Why not ....
It would not seem too difficult a job to replace the standard Nissan plastic bushes with custom phosphor bronze ones which would last a lot longer.

I agree, RMP&O, the Parts Books are a fascinating source of info. I have the Jan 1986 version - and my Saudi Arabian truck has the H233 diff and came with the 3.9 ratio unknown in OZ - at least to ARB who told me when I was fitting one of their lockers to the front that there was no such thing as a ...

The circuit that works
Well the above circuit would have worked if the unit had been wired like that - unfortunately it isn't as I found out when bench testing and could not get the unit to park
I think (hope) that this time I have got it sorted. The unit's parking switch is a 2-way switch wired as in the revised diagram ...

Thank for that Chook. Helpful. I take it the washer works independently of the wiper.
I smashed my rear window last weekend and could only find a window with wiper. So either I plug the holes or try to get it to work. May not be worth the effort as I am not sure how, or if, the 24V wiper will work ...

Just trying to work out the wiring for the rear wiper on an MQ. Can someone tell me please whether it is a single or 2 speed, intermittent or not.
Thanks. David
