The more i hear the more i think the ol girl needs a new set of rings etc,Down on power, white smoke at startup,nice greasy exhaust.
Dont spend any money on it until an "Expert" has had a look.

mate,
Sounds to me the compression is down due to wear.... Rings shot thus hard to start.If it isnt leakin oil then it is burnin it.. Not good news,,
I wouldnt spend doe on glo plugs before checkin compressioin out.
I recon you could need an expensive rebuild!!!!

Ive got a current bravo 2,5 turbo.Only done 15K yet but goes like a bomb.10l per 100 at 110k 14l per 100 at 100k towin 15ft caravan,which it handles supprisingly well.Have towed a van out toi noccundra and down to taree via tamworth etc.Gettin a bit nervious about some of the posts here but its hard ...

Just postin a note to advise anyone with a current model bravo that you cannot fit 15" white wheels as they will not fit over the rear brake drums.
I found out the hard way..thus the post in the forsale/wheels section
