A standard issue 9000 is about $1150 ish. They also have higher spec jobs.

If you are after a winch that will outperform the Warn 9.5 take a look at the ComeUp 9.5. Far superior in quality than a Warn.

They will be sensing a torque load and probably locking in. Change them to free wheeling hubs,

The Lux diffs are always a great idea as the suzi diffs are like toothpicks at the best of times. what about a 1uz? this is in a rocky we did and it runs a vitara v6 radiator and sits perfectly on half temp all the time. damn its a nice motor to drive and is all alloy.





so not legal in a zook though.

I got my GV for the same reasons... it was a one owner that had never been offroad, i have since done a few mods like lift and bigger tyres. I have found it hard to find a winch bar but you can get most other bits. You might need to import them from the usa but that can be cheaper then buy similar ...

if you like uni binding, slip joint probs and a host of other dramas than don't do it. ride quality is debatable as a well setup standard sytem will perform very well and give you better handling qualities. if you are in doubt, look at where the fixed point for a coily radius arm is on the chassis ...
