Front and back hub caps have saved me many times on deep mud and ruff roads. The front ones thank god once i felt on the side of the road had saved me my hubs but the hub caps broked.

are the clips alone secured enough to stick the hub cap to the hub? or glue was also used? how did you get the ...

Hi Bendover

How does the resistor pack look like? a box? are you going to replace the whole pack or pick out the burnt wire to replace?

is Motorama a Daihatsu dealer? I mean, is the resistor pack a Daihatsu part or just a general car part like a spark plug orignition coil?

Thanks

if connected in series then those resistance wires for the higher fan speeds are of even smaller resistance values...

To do the mod I did, I pulled the A/C heat exchanger bit out - the A/C was stuffed and I had to pull it out anyway. Normally you'd lose all the A/C gas if you did that (ie. illegal to do....and $$$ to get it replenished)

so your mod was to replace the burnt resistance wire with two ...

I'd recommend fitting extractors and leaving the rest of the system standard (providing there's nothing wrong with it?)

I ran mine like this and had a huge improvement in low rev torque with my Hurricane 4-2-1 extractors. I then got the cat back done in 2" pipe with a new muffler etc and lost a ...

A decorative item for making the rear wheels look the same as the front. Some people want them on- others don't. ;)

Ah, I see, thanks for confirming that, looks like I belong to the former group while the ex-owner of my Feroza beongs to the latter group :D

No wonder when I requested my mechanic ...

i believe you are referring to the hub "caps" that fit onto the original daihatsu rims? that might cause some confusion. thats all they are, "caps" to fill in the center hole and help hide the axle facing.

so those rear hub caps are purely decorative items, apart from protecting the axle face?

Anybody have any ideas on this anomaly

Thanks

Nope. It's not free energy. You've paid for the energy in the alternator load on the crank, it's just what form you use the energy you're drawing off the engine.

You're just converting the alternator effort to heat if you're not using the electrical energy, and electrical energy if the demand is ...

ps: if that supercharger really draws 40amps (a) the rectifiers could be bulky (b) the 0.414X peak surge may be reduced

40A? That's a small alternator by today's standards - you don't need large diodes, you only need good heatsinking.

The theoretical benefit of electric supercharging is ...

Maybe the idea would be to power it from a second unregulated alternator, then as the engine speed increases, the voltage/current increase and therefore the total power going into the electric blower increases.

rather than having a second unregulated alternator, why not just have the belt driving ...

Hi, folks, nice to meet you

I'm Ken and my Feroza is a 92' EL-II. I bought the car a few months ago and it's running quite fine after some major maintenance work. I have been thinking of buying a Feroza for more than 10 years. I'm so glad that I can finally own one. Hope it's not too late, the lady ...

Rain Deflector for Feroza / Rocky

Dear folks

I'm looking for the plastic transparent rain deflector (a.k.a. weather shield, wind deflector) for the front windows for my 92' Feroza. Please kindly advise any shop selling such items on-line. There are not much Feroza in my locality so accessories are rare.

Thank you so much.
