Outer Limits 4x4 Board

My mate is looking to build new engine, turbo etc in his GQ 4.2 diesel. Need some opinions on who to use for the build and what sort of turbo/injector pump etc to use.

I had 3.5 in gu 4.8. I just finished turbo now and changed my gears to 4.11. it is perfect with turbo, but if i my 4.8 was naturally aspirated still, i would have gone 4.3 gears.

My mate just bought a 24 volt high mount winch and wants to know exactly what is needed other than bridged dual batterys to run winch.

Hey, i have a turbo 4.8 gu patrol pushing 250rear wheel kw with 35 inch tyres. I have done bout 5000kms since turbo was installed, mostly bush work with 36 and 37 inch tyres and driven it very hard too. Have not had a problem at all with my auto so far, and i have not even modified it at all.

All 4 castor bolts were shagged. Bought 4 new h/tensile and big lock nuts, greased all up then problem is now fixed. Horny work.

Anyone tell me best place to buy Chromoly CV and Axles for my 80 series 4.5 petrol turbo.

Will check all those suggestions guys. Frequently do maitenance on it especially after all 4be trips. All bolts seem to be tight as, but maybe not tight enough hey. will report back tomorrow. cheers
