I took a look at a transfercase and the factory manual and it can be done but is a lot of work! There is only one lever that goes into the case that pushes one shaft and pulls the other one. So you need to make 2 levers and go from there.

Forget it! :D

C200 axle's

I've got an Patrol 260/Spanish MK for parts and these Patrols have the end of the axle chromed. Its the part that hold the knuckle.

At my MQ/160 this part just plain/bare metal.

What should I do, I have to rebuild my MQ axle anyhow. Put this 260 axle under my MQ (after changing gears)

What kind of L28 in MQ?

What kind of block is in the MQ L28? Like P54 or something.

There should be an number on the left side of the block but I can't see it because of my header.

Anyone an idea?

How to choose shocks: spoa MQ

I did a spoa years ago and used home made shock bracket to use the original shocks.

They break pretty often so I want shocks that fit on the original mounts.

Can't you just lock the GQ hubs? My dad had an 1993 GQ and the free running hub had something on that you could turn.

Is changing the input shafts difficult?

So You recomend to order the conversion kit for the L28-4 speed Patrol?
