I've got an Patrol 260/Spanish MK for parts and these Patrols have the end of the axle chromed. Its the part that hold the knuckle.
At my MQ/160 this part just plain/bare metal.
What should I do, I have to rebuild my MQ axle anyhow. Put this 260 axle under my MQ (after changing gears)

My friend has an 1984 L040 Pajero TD. His shift lever for the transfercase is stuck. He used it this morning and it was fine but later that day his lever was completly stuck in 2H.

I replaced the rear wheel bearings of my 84 MQ today but I ran into a problem! When I placed the axle's back in the rearend and thighten the 6 nuts of the RH side (short axle) the bearing got way to tight!
