After unzipping the Pajero 3.5 one, I got 3 files with unknown extensions eg. car.viv and one mpaj.qfs. the other is txt.

I can't open the files. Have you been able to do it? Which program can open these files(exept the TXT of course)

They said that in the 13 years that they have experience with Pajero, they have never encountered a gearbox problem with the Auto's. They just don't give problems. Electronics yes, but gearbox, No.

After weeks of frustration, replacing TPS, changing TCM,paying agent to fix problem and even supplying him with info that pointed to solenoid #1 in gearbox malfunctioning, they just adjusted kickdown cable and said problem fixed.

I will try and get some Dexron 3. It seems not to be readily available unless you go to synthetic. But this poses it's own problems.

It seems in South Africa, for some reason, dexron 3 is not as available.

I have traced the fault of my Blinking 4WD indication lights to the switch on the Transfer case, (rear one on driver side) that does not switch when shifting from 2WD to 4 WD.
