w/t to n/t diff housing spring plates

Can anyone tell me if you will get full lock in the steering , On a n/t if you use w/t diff housing , But move the spring plates in on the diff housing too line up with the n/t chassis.Will this stop the tyres rubbing on the springs at full lock :?:

85 sj413 nt lwb rear brake cylinders

Does anyone out there no whitch rear wheel brake cylinder is used on the sj413 nt lwb rear brake . sj410 or sj413. Is there any difference between wt & the nt cylinders. I am under the impression that this model was a bit of a mix and match of few models i dont know whitch. Can anyone help .

cheers for that info , the yankie richmond lockright is what i'm after . they make powertrax, & no slip diff. Is powertrax & richmond lockright the same diff i think it is ? :?

twin tranny's alot more $$$$$$$$$$$. I might go and find out what they are puting in front of these isuzu gearboxes besides isuzu engines.

i'm thinking about 3" bodylift & a richmond lockright diff. I'm not which to do first.I don't what type of diff is in my" 85 1.3 lwb nt" and if richmond lockright diff is the same between the different zuk diff's , ratio's & front & back wt nt ect. I think it will be the lockright as it will let me ...

(Cut input shaft ,weld on slip yok off of tailshaft to stub of input shaft, Unijoint or flexjoint at the rear. solid mounted to rear of zuk box and rubber mounted rear of volvo box)___________________________________________________________

Also you get a lot of low gears in two wheel drive. that's a SPIGOT BUSH i think

i already have a gearbox 40 odd thousand on the clock, out of a 62 volvo amazon .It was written off in a smash. You can still get the parts for them as well. A bit of cutting a bit of welding , some :drinking:

I am trying to have 5 speed gearbox & still be able too put volvo 4speed box behind it ,Like they have done over in sweden. That way i'l be getting all the highway gears & heaps of lower gears down to about 110to1.

yeh i see your point steve , The reason is to get rid of the overhang at the rear of the box.I have seen late model jeep boxes with less overhang but they would be too expensive to buy.

i am after a 5speed gear box that doesn't have the shifter overhanging the output shaft , this is the only gearbox that i have seen so far that is suitable.

Is there anyone out there who has done this conversion , or know 's how close they would be to lining up.also what difference in gearing .Any view's on this conversion would be appreciated.Is there any more on this subject in previous posts.
