I have had air lockers in previous cars and now have detroit lockers in my 80. I wouldn'y recommend them and I would buy air lockers next time and not autolockers.dave89 wrote:hey i was just woundering which one would be beter for my 80 series an auto locker or an air locker

Mine is 2"post turbo on the dump pipe and it maxes out at 550 degrees in fifth gear climbing hills. I'd be worried if mine was getting hotter then that. Sounds like he's running to much fuel.

Re: 4runner cab swap or cut into dual cab ute.
If you were to put the dual cab on the 4runner chassis you will have to extend the wheel base so the tyres won't hit the cab. If i was in your position i would buy an IFS dual cab and swap your lift and accessories over. In saying that, the photchop that you have done looks cool and if you have the ...

As the title states, i'm wanting to find an aggressive tread pattern tyre that will suit a 16"x 5.5" rim. I'm currently run 315 75's on 16"rims on a turbo diesel 80 series and happy with the current gearing. I would like to find a tyre with a similar diameter and similar tread pattern, just ...
