I have had air lockers in previous cars and now have detroit lockers in my 80. I wouldn'y recommend them and I would buy air lockers next time and not autolockers.

Mine is 2"post turbo on the dump pipe and it maxes out at 550 degrees in fifth gear climbing hills. I'd be worried if mine was getting hotter then that. Sounds like he's running to much fuel.

If you were to put the dual cab on the 4runner chassis you will have to extend the wheel base so the tyres won't hit the cab. Flex is so over rated. In my opinion, ride quality has to be paramount. If you want to ga places, lock it and gear it. John John out drove me time and time again in his geared, twin locked on 33's hilux.

It doesn't bother me at all. My car is only raised 50mm and i still run 35s and i wouldn't want tyres any bigger on road.

I have a lot of respect for dave.
That vehicle started off as a stock 4runner and evolved into that. As far as i know he built all of it himself.
I think it looked its best when it was bobbed with 36's.
