After being stuffed around by Safari Guard for a couple of months waiting for delivery we made up our own 3 link + panhard. The two lower arms use the original chassis mounts on the rear of the arm and the rear mounts on the diff housing for the front of the arm. We made the upper arm with joints bo...

Thanks for the replies, gas is not an option as we dont have the room for a tank after bobbing the rear end, and we are trying to stay away from carby set up......that was going to be an absolute last resort. We have a Wolf ECU being air freighted from Melbourne with a base map loaded in it. Looks l...

A mate and I have been spending a lot of time, a fair amount of money and huge effort to get our RRC ready for this years Mud Comp in WA. We only get one comp a year over here at the moment and I'm really pissed off by a supplier of our aftermarket ECU. After 7 weeks, it is still not in WA and have ...

Jarrod, we bought the car nearly two years ago, did a few mods before September last year then spent the nex 8 months planning the build...ie; doing nothing. Started the strip and build in june this year. When we made up the new cross member for the rear we mounted it high enough to do away with the...

Jarrod, we haven't had it engineered, it is strictly a fun vehicle. Haven't wheeled it yet, still a couple of weeks away, so I cant say if it was worth doing or not, but looking at the departure angle I will say it certainly looks like it will be worth it. Here is a link to another forum with some p...

other than that just sat there looking at it for probably an hour just nutting things out, in particular the rear bar. Now that the chassis is 30 odd cm shorter, the chassis is now to low to mount the bar too, so im now having to mount on the body. Much in the same way most, if not all rock sliders...

well done, not something I would have tackled at 15. What have you got left to do? Brake lines and draglink? What about pinion flange to tailshaft?
Lokking at the pic of the Patrol diff it looks like you used the Nissan lower arms, is that the case? and if so did they just bolt into the Disco mounts?

It is illegal to fill any form of gas bottle that is not securely or permantly attatched without a transportation licence. It is not legal to fill a gas bottle at a servo just because it's a fork lift bottle. Yes you may get away with it without question but it's not legal.. And before you start wi...
