Yeah mate,

This is what I run in my Disco, absolutely love it, gets me places that patrols and cruisers with suspension work cant follow without winching or lockers.
Great travel and still a good ride on the road.

I also did it with my arb bar, just made a cradle out of 3mm plate to fit in between the rails of the bullbar.

There was a write up on AULRO, thats what I used, so just have a search on there for bullbar cradle or tjm cradle, as it was a tjm bar he did it for.

Yeah I see you point steve.

Hopefully rovertym have some idea about this.

otherwise even with the 5% and gst it will still be alot cheaper than what it is to buy stuff in smaller quantity's.

Well, All ranges 4x4 were able to get the rear bar done for me quickly, and it came up really good. They also do some wicked winchbars too. This is the first read bar for a disco they have done and will do more now if there is a demand. This is how it turned out. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e5 ...

No it wasnt quite that bad disco1, i cant even imagine how the hell you did that! :)

So if welding is out of the question, the steam pipe sleeve or rangie ones might be the go.

HSV, where did you get those custom ones from??

Disco1, pm me some pics of your rig, would like a squiz.

Has anyone strengthened there trailing arms? Mananged to bend one of mine on the weekend, and was thinking may be able to strengthen them with some angle or flat welded on top for extra strength. Anyone done this before? Cheers
