its a 1994 model 2.7l turbo, rb21 is the model number i think. i read somewere that the injectors clog up and start to squirt a stream of fuel instead of a ist which is quite bad but i imagine regular servicing wolud sort that out. i to am very happy with the ride coming from a swb vitara.

yep took a lwb for a drive today and its a vast improvent on the swb. so now its just a matter of finding th right one.

sounds good. that one of the problems i find with my swb is that i just cant find the motivetion these days to go for long drives as it bump and turns into a pain in the arse (pun intended)

Yeah that would work ok but new springs might go a fair way to making the ride better as opposed to just shocks although they would certainly help. Give Bruce off the NBS site an email (you can find his email on the members list) he can sort some spacers out of you and is real good to deal with.

Cool thanks for clearing that up. Have not had the chance to drive a diesel yet only a 2.2 (From What i recall) petrol of the 1st gen variety ( cause i much prefer the shape) and it was pretty gut less i thought even coming from a 1.6 vit, oh well more hunting i guess.

i dont know what year cresseda they are out of but mx62 is the cressda model number and i just quoted that to super cheap and they got them ordered, they were like $60 or something so the are pretty crap as you can guess but they do alright (just wouldnt want to do long drives over bumpy crap roads ...

Yeah i have kings in mine and i would have to agree that the rear is a little harsh but once loaded with camping gear or what ever its fine. They are not to hard to fit but a write up would surely help a few. The only other thing i did to mine was add a 15mm spacer to the front to raise it 30mm ...

Im after some new tyres for my trailer and these linglong jobs seem very cheap and i think will be alright for the trailer as its only pretty light and does not do a lot of kms. any one had any experance with them (they are lmb3's or something in a 235\75\15 size)

Yeah that what i thought at first but there is two big ass bolt style ones and i cant recal if they both went on or just one and what colour and what bolt as there is two. The little plug thingo is all good just found that and plugged it in. Cant seem to find anything in the manual either.

So i just finished putting a new clutch in and cant for the life of me remmember what plugs are supposed to go back on the strater motor. can anyone with a 1.6 vit engine have a look and let me know.
