yeah, got a split case from a 47 i think, havent done much with it since been replacing all steering with hi-steer from locktup and new spring shocks and not to mention the motor went bang. just got it back on the road from that, still finishing a few thing on it tho (it never ends)

i just got a Holley offroad 780cfm, its on my mild 350 chev but i haven't had a chance to take it off road yet but they are supposed to be really good.
You have to have a high vacuum signal to run them properly, so a dirty big cam in a v8 is not a great idea.

iam just running a 60 series man radaiator in my 40 with a 350, aswell as a 16" davis craig thurmo with a sheet metal shroud.
works great even giving it a hard time!

no wories, i will search around and see how much i can pick the box and tcase up for. dooing the fab work is no big problem just would be nice if it went straight in unlike everything else that i do with this thing.

quick question, was thinking about entering some comps in my fj40. Only thing its got vic rego (now living on gold coast). got a 350 in it and its sprung over, have certificates for it but you dont have mod plates down there so what do i do.

it has a 34mm idle shatf insted of that smaller one whatever size it is.

just redid the swivle hubs wheel bearings and diff bearings in my fj40, tightened up the diff and got it running center and took it for a drive. hubs locked all good, in 4wd all good but in 4wd and hubs locked it sounds like the tail shaft is gunna fall out. the tcase locks up and wont go back into ...

quick question whats the difference between semi and full floating axle on a fj40. want to put disks on the back and you can get some kits on ebay.com can not be bothered making brackets. Kits are desigined for semi floating. (has anyone else done it on theirs)
