Hi all any help with this one would be great! Wife's rangie vogue 1991 3.9 efi Misfire for a day, goes away,misfire again few weeks later, goes away misfire again worse! If you,ve done an oil change recently,it could take a few k,s for the hydraulic lifter to fill up again, if not then it,s time to re invest in some new litters, not to harder job depending on your experience? It,s not going to kill your engine straight away though.

mod plate would be a blue one, theres a guy i just used think he's in townsville, he travels to do blue plates though, his name is lindsay stone, contact livingstone engineering on:47748807. hope this helps :)

you were right geoffro my old china :D cheers mate.
it was actualy just infront of the spring mount between the stearing box bolts. underneath half an inch of buitumen (naturaly)ha ha :D

oil light

many thanks rangie and nairbo, for such a quick reply will be doing them tomorrow cheers :D i've a nother problem now :oops: oil light won't go off! have just done full service oil filter etc, have run the engine for a couple of min's twice now but light still on :? i'm worried about runnin it again ...
