just picked up a 2001 3.0D dual cab 190000 on the clock for $12000 and for its first highway run it used 8L/100km, not sure f thats goo but I am happy with it. The motor seems to have enough get up and go for I need as well.

i got 2 engines in my garage both have a cracked ring in 4th cylinder if you were inbrissy you could have one but i think to ship it down there would cost more than to buy one.

i got 31 claws with only a 2 inch body lift.

for the lift cost me $200 for a kit.

if i sourced the ally blocks and high tensile bolts myself could have got away with it for about $100 just to lazy though ;)

I have this problem sometimes usually after i go playing in the dust

but an easy fix if this is the problem is to remove the idle solenoid and spray the crap out of it and into the hole it screws into with carby cleaner. leave it out overnight covered (in a seal plastic bag if possible) and ...

saw the vid of rods roll yesterday at his workshop :shock: :shock: :shock: and gotta say that is probably the biggest fastest roll i have ever seen looks awesome unlike the truck afterwards.

nah its in the gearbox not the transfer case but i will keep that in mind in case it happens when i do the transfer case oil :D

Would it be considered bad if........

you undo the drain plug on ther gearbox to drain the gear oil out and a single ball bearing falls out in the oil

first thought was gear bearings, but no other metal bits fell out so any ideas on what this bearing has come from.

oh well now i just have to figure out how to rebuild a gearbox ...

what an absolutly awesome event :armsup:
3 major rollovers (all on camera :armsup: ) some absolutly insane tracks and a very well organised event with only a couple of slow spots but on the whole it was probably the most professional, spectator catered for event i have been to

well done to the organisers :D

i hadf the bright idea on my first zook tostop dust and shit getting in the breathers i put generic fuel filters in the open ends of the hoses, they came handy as spares and if you forgot an air bed adapter when camping they connected perfectly to the pump :D
