if you have low gears if the stall speed is to low you will end up with drive all the time and either stall engine or just push through the brakes. One good rule is have a look at cruzing rpm what you use most dont go higher then that or you will just heat up your auto and use fuel

when i talked to Gas Reasearch about it they said for street use disconect snorkale as pulses from passing trucks will play hell with the mixture the balance pipe fixs most problems but a fast pulse can cause the gas to get upset

as i understand it its because of the bolts holding the ring on and they can come lose and need to be checked same sort of reson why wheel spacers cant be used on road cant check the inside nuts and extra stress on the studs

ok i,ll tell you how i did it for support bearing the autos runs a seal take of the front plate of the tranfer and machine it to run a bearing cost me i think 80$ to do the mod its easy one tip the beaing i used is sealed with a lock screw same as bearing in pillow blocks you buy from bearing shops ...

sounds about right couldnt remember the torque figures i just purchased mine from power autos in Dandenong they make all the parts for thomas pto told em what i wanted and then got the coupling of them you have to machine the coupling to the id hole you need and away you go i havent worryed about a ...

for your time and money dont bother unless you have big size you cant fit the smaller gears in there not strong enough used to change heaps on every machine i,ve ever worked on with redution hubs and they hate shock loading destroys the smaller gears and one chip and it takes out the inner outer ...

If you havent broken the shear pin your just not getting stuck hard enough ask anyone with a 8000 pound high or low mount or get any video with a lot of winching see em stalled all the time and cables are rated a lot higher then the winchs
