Re: Rocky Road Sierra/Samurai 6" Coil Kit

That isn't a lift kit for a coil spring Sierra, it's a coil conversion kit for a leaf sprung Sierra. Two very diferent things.

What type of Sierra do you have?
The coil conversion would need engineering so I'd make sure before.

Also not sure if Glenn even makes those kits any more, his service can ...

Re: Which colour LEDs for bug-proof campsite lights?

Currently use a very white LED strips in my trailer and bugs are very rarely attracted to the point I dont bother with yellow camp light

My Sierra used to have a red interior light for night ...

Re: Violent shake in my 98 gu patrol

It isn't an Old Man Emu suspension as they dont do 4" lifts. So you need to be sure of what you have actually got and make sure it is done properly than it's a bit of a process. Are the wheels balanced, rims straight, wheel alignment, steering all
Fine no loose components etc etc

I ran an ARB compressor under my bonnet on the Sierra for years and it never missed a beat. I have been windscreen deep in a river with no bonnet without any dramas. Also many mud and river crossings without a drama.

Swb or Lwb?

Have you compared weights of the Sierra stuff and the new stuff? Sierras react badly to excessive weight in the wrong places so you will need to play around with adding, moving weight around to get a good balance happening. Chassis strength can be an issue. Steering will be a bit if a ...
