It is not a daily driver and mainly used for day trips that are fairly local.

There's the answer right in front of you......... why would anyone want to pay for petrol when LPG is so much cheaper ????????
Seeing its driven locally then LPG refills arent a problem at all !, mine on the other hand ...

yeah unfort the missus wouldnt go for a dual cab b/c it will be our only vehicle so daily driver aswell but i see your point. Thanks 83lux and mick n sal too - sounds like you have had some good adventures in your runner, and thanks for the advice re mods too.

Hi. when i get back to Oz from the UK I'm keen to get a bigger rig and preferably a 94-96 4runner.

I know they are getting on a bit now so i'd like to get any comments about any inherrant probs, off road ability, 3.0lt fuel consump and generally whether you reckon they are a good rig or not ...

may be a better idea to get the springs reset and then get some longer shackles made up.

check out the faq's section above on suspension mods.

some of the other guys here like murcod should be able to give u more advice on swapping rear springs etc
