My ...

I have used a new Loctite product called "freeze and release" or something similar. It cools the bolt down to -20c (which breaks it free of rust and seizure) and also contains a release agent like a WD40. Worked a treat.

The new 70 Series is a single turbo. HOWEVER, the forthcoming 200 Series (replacement for the 100 Series) is a twin turbo. Won't be released until late this year. http://www.drive.com.au/Editorial/MiniSite/MiniSiteArticleDetail.aspx?ArticleID=21301&vf=28&MiniSiteID=1 http://www.drive.com.au ...

The 70s series transfer cases have a six bolt cover plate on the left side which gives access to the gears. Any PTO built for 60 or 70 series cruisers will fit. The PTO has an engagement lever which needs to be brought up into the cabin and sits slightly forward and to left of gear shifter. Quite ...

I can't speak for competition use ( I dont comp), but I run a Toyota OEM winch on my Middy and in 5th gear, she pulls mighty fast even at idle speeds. Up the revs and it is too fast - if that possible ;) Ramsay and Thomas are other brands. As far as I am aware, all three types use a worm drive so ...

Thomas is probably the best known. You need to have a PTO unit mounted to your transfer case.
To help further you need to tell us your vehicle and intended use - competition, regular use etc.

I have the same rig in 24volt and am looking at a water to air intercooler as there isn't much room in the engine bay for the plumbing- and I have a 2" body lift! They appear to be more efficient at crawling speeds where there isn't much airflow. Water to air intercoolers are actually air to water ...

Donor Vehicles for York Air Compressor?

Hi All, I am looking at installing an onboard air setup on my BJ74. Looking at all the forums, the York appears the superior option for c.ft. flow. Can anyone please supply a list of donor cars that came with the York Compressor? Preferable Aussie delivered/available models and years. Depending on ...
