I can't speak for competition use ( I dont comp), but I run a Toyota OEM winch on my Middy and in 5th gear, she pulls mighty fast even at idle speeds. I have the same rig in 24volt and am looking at a water to air intercooler as there isn't much room in the engine bay for the plumbing- and I have a 2" body lift!
