i have a 99 ifs hilux petrol, with the front hubs locked in,then when i turn steering to the right & left while moving ,there is a knocking sound from both wheels i am pretty sure it is the c.v's can i replace the outer's our do i have to replace the lot. or is it worthwhile getting them rebuilt ...

have a 4.2 diesel ford maverick using penrite hpr 20w 60 oil i have changed oil filters from z115 to donaldson filters made no differance oil light still stays on for at least 6 sec oil pressure at idle when cold 60 psi when hot at 100 klph in 5 gear still 60 psi my after market electric sparco oil ...

can any body help with recon alternator for a ford maverick 4.2 diesel on Brisbane south side browns plains ,slacks creek ,Underwood

i have a 4.2 diesel with a 2 1/2 inch exhaust with a free flowing muffler
will adding extractors make any difference overall

i have a standard 1991 ford mav with snorkel and a 2 1/2 in exhausts will screwing the pump up a bit will it make any differance
also my oil pressure cold 50psi hot at idle 30psi at 100kph in fifth gear is 60psi

can any body tell us if there is a thread in here all ready covering oil pressure in 4.2 deisel . we have a 4.2 deisel maverick oil light did'nt go out for 10 sec or longer, had a 4wd shop insall a oil pressure gauge as the standard gauge was jumping around at idle .neither gauge will work while oil ...

no that aint gonna happen he says its not real becouse i wont let him do a big lift and big tyres and he had a hilux i have had it off road a few times and it can out do a lot of others the 2.4 diesal girl has a lot of grunt and goes very nicely however as i wont take her in at the water tower end ...

92 surf yes import ok so as neil says its not a real 4x4 but it's my little girl and she does fine for me but can anyone tell me if the have heard of them scrubbing out tyres i've had a few wheel aling done and some balances as well but still having problems about to go buy more rubber to put on ...

does anybody on southside of bris have a winch bar to fit 91 ford mavrick cheep thanks

92 ford mavarick
i put the window down on passenger side today and it now will not go up moter is turning but nothing is happening
has any one got any idears as it is along w/end and not able to get to auto elec till wed need to be able to lock car up
help

does anyone know of any problems to look out for

seen the lite (went from leafs to coils)

parabolics on the front of hilux
will cutting the clip that holds leafs together or grinding the pin out
will this help with flex


also will it help on rear if i cut back or front or both clamps
