Thanks Everybody for all the help. I checked and my zook has the 2 o2 sensors setup. I got one of those handheld computers that check the ECU for errors and it said that my secondary O2 sensor was bad, so i guess it's because there is no cat. I think i'll either buy the MIL eliminator or install the ...

so noone here knows anything about oxygen sensor simulators, electronics or how to fool the ECU? Comeon, SOMEONE MUST know something about how to fool the ECU when you remove your catalitic converter!! My zook has a straight pipe from the headders to the exhaust with a small muffler between them ...

Thanx Man! I guess i can wait 2-3mins to warm up. I'll see if i can get that sensor in some junk yard around. Suzukis here are very popular so that might not be much of a problem. About the engines, i think we have different ones. I have the EFI 1.6 16v SOHC and you have a 2.0 16v DOHC. Wanna swap ...

BTW, who long is supposed to take for a 1.6L 16v EFI to warm up on mornings? 7-8mins? I've notices how other cars warm up much faster and STAY warm for hours after being turned off, while mine cools up in 45mins, so everytime i turn the vehicle off for more than 45mins, i gotta wait 7-8 mins until ...

Oxygen Sensor Simulator
My zuk gave me a brights Servce Engine Soon light so i went to service center and they told me i have to change the O2 sensor. Ever since the light came on, i've been experiencing lower gas-mileage, the engine feels slugish in the lower revs and the exhaust smells a lot like unburned gas . So i ...

hey! thanks for all the info about the engine. And Thanks for the translation website too. BTW, who owns that zook? It looks like a mix between a hummer and a mercedes benz. Is he trying to do a 10sec drag rocket or just the ultimate zuk? That guys spent some serious money on it. If any of you had ...

and the last one BTW, what does the "Canister" actualy do? That black bottle on the left of the engine? I heard it's supposed to recirculate little parts of nitrogen produced by the combustion and inject it again in the next cycle to lower the combustion temperature a bit. I disconnected it once and ...

Droopypete: Nop, i'm one of the crazy guys from the Dominican Republic . The island between cuba and puerto rico. Sun all year long, really hot weather and plenty (trust me, plenty) of offroading places. If anyone feels like taking a vacation to the caribbean (taking your zuk with you, of course ...

is the 15hp resistor mod true?
Is it true that a simple resistor mod can add 15hp to my engine?? I've searched the net looking for more info and i only found that guys with suzuki hayabusas and racebikes do this. check it out and tell me if it works http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2431594999&category ...

AHh, i'm back after my top-speed testrun and here are the results: 150kmh and it still had 1200rpm to go till redline but i had to slow down because of curves and the fact that the vehicle was almost taking off the ground. The cool thing is that my speed only goes up to 140. Feels good to know your ...

Mm, a 1.3 V8 would be very interesting. It would have absolutely no lowend torque, and very little torque at high rpms. It would probably rev to 10000-12000 rpm because each cyl has 162cc, that's even less than the average atv. It doesnt seem like the kind of engine you'd like to offroad with. That ...

my zuk is completly stock except for a performance air filter. I do 145kmh in 4rth gear @ 6000rpm . If i go to 5th, i rev down to 4500rpm and the speedo goes really slowly to 130 . But that's one of the scariest things i've ever done because my suspension (misteriously) is really really harsh and ...

Thanks guys! Just a pair of quick questions: I feel that the ride is harsh and hard, too hard for that type of vehicle . The vehicle feels more like a sports car than a 4x4. How will it feel and handle if i remove the rear shocks? What about bumps and holes? And 2nd: How many amps does the stock ...

Front wheel travel is not so good but the rear end makes me happy. Still searching for places to test how far can the stock suspension can take me. Any cheap ...
